really inspiring story. thank you for presenting it. satterfield drives home the point that each of us can help just one other person and that makes all the difference in the world.

Thanks for your comment, Joanne. Melvin is quite an inspirational person, and I was very impressed with the direction he’s taken in his life. Many people have difficulty finding the will and motivation to overcome such odds, and it’s great to see people like Melvin helping others find their way.

I was very impressed by your inspirational cover story. It’s one of the best you’ve ever run, and I’ve been a member for about 5 years. However, the news is not all good. I think your move into “rating” health care services is wrong-headed. You mentioned in your last issue about all the myriad TV programs devoted to home improvement. None of them contains health care information, I can assure you! I think the vast number of TV shows about home remodeling, etc. tells you that there’s enough of a market for your original theme without expanding into health care. I hope you will soon abandon your journey into this subject as I think it detracts from your overall purpose.

Please note that the “cover story” I refer to is about Melvin Satterfield.
